I seem to have hit a nasty bout of artist's block, on multiple levels.  I started working on my entry for TCP and I got some good color and lines down but I find that I don't have enough give-a-damn to work on it. The inspiration's gone.  Part of that I think is tied to confidence, because there are already a lot of good entries that I'll never live up to this year, but I don't think that's completely it, and it's frustrating me.

Any kind of creative block just flusters me in general. I've been unable to get anywhere on a musical piece I've been working on for awhile, I'm just stuck.

So more than just to vent, I was hoping some of you had some ideas or tips and tricks that you would be willing to share with me to help get past bouts of creative block and such things?
